I'm pretty sure there are no spoilers included in this review but if anyone spots any just comment below and I'll fix it right up.Overall I'm giving this anthology 4 stars. Mainly because of "Highland Roots". I liked this story the best because there was a little emotional attachment involved in this story. Bruce and Fiona shared the stage quite equally. I loved the draw they had to each other. I liked the fact that they both hadn't had much experience with love before meeting. The story was pretty titillating (except for one or two tiny little things hardly worth mentioning) but they are personal preferences and I wouldn't hold that against the author or let it affect my review. All in all I think it was written well, as were the other stories, (very few typos and exemplary use of English).
"When Pleasure Blooms" was unique in that it was somewhat sensual without being too sexually explicit considering no bodies were touched or manipulated during the story. Interesting.
"Mary Had a little Lamb" Was stimulating and funny in places. I personally was a little disappointed in the Cadets choice in the end.
"African Massage" was good. At the end I was wishing there was time for more story about Tony and his Masseuse.
"On The Altar" is one small scene taken from a whole lot of potential. One sexually stimulating scene minus relationship.
A mans fantasy! Haha! You go guy!

What a titillating, immersive, well written collection of short stories. The author really has a way of detailing the encounters that really allows you to sense the building emotions in the characters, even using mundane things such as a flower to tantalize in unexpected ways. Out of all of the stories, "On the Altar" was my favorite as it had that air of mystique. I only wish that some of the other stories were longer, and had a bit more background to them. Not that they need to be, as they are short stories about brief encounters after all, but I wouldn't have minded an expansion of them.
Arousing, good English. My first erotica, not bad. However I found pure erotica is not my cup of tea, I am not sure I would read any more of this.
Even though I am not much of a reader of erotica fiction, I have to say I very much enjoyed Mr.Greenfield's style of writing and I thought his stories were spicy yet tastefully done. If I had to pick a favorite it would be, "Mary had a Naval Virgin." but I pretty much thought they were all hot and smokin. If your a fan of erotica I recommend giving this one a try.
This is not what I usually read and would not normally pick it up, except the author is my friend.
I am not sure what I expected, but was pleasantly surprised that there were actual stories, and found I liked reading them. The book was well written and I do appreciated the tallent of the author. If you enjoy erotica I believe you will enjoy this book. And if you don't, you might be surprised.
Since being introduced to Somerset Maugham's books, I've been a fan of short stories.
This selection didn't disappoint. Well written with beautiful diction, each left me wanting a bit more - as it should be for a short story in my book!

LOL - my favourite story!! Menage, virgins, voyeurism and a titbit of paranormal! This was such an easy read - it flowed so well. Poor Carys and greedy Kenny - lol! This story ended too soon
Highland Roots - ★★★
Although I appreciate it is a short story, I felt a little more time spent on the kinks mentioned, would have enhanced it. I enjoyed the chase scene and felt the description of the countryside was well done!
On The Altar - ★★★
I enjoyed this story. I like a bit of deja vu, even if it is something that was dreamt, but was she dreaming the reality?
And I love the cover!

This book gave me so many orgasms that I lost count. I had to keep running the washer to keep my panties fresh.
I will be going to this book to re-read it again and again. These stories grab your attention right from the start, and keep you SATISFIED until the very last word.
My favorite out of the five has to be Highland Roots . I, for one, would love to be in Fiona's position! I would love to ask a man what he wears under his kilt, and I would much rather feel than look see.
On The Altar is just WOW! I have a recurring fantasy that I can never imagine the end of... This story might help me get to that next level. I hope!
In Mary Had A Naval Virgin , I learned a fantastic technique for bringing myself off. And it really works! I came several times over as I re-read that passage! I can't tell you how blissful that was!
As you read, you will be continually wishing that you could be the characters of these stories.
I am not the type to write a summary of the book, so please forgive me for not giving a run-down of details. I sometimes find that it takes a bit of the suspense away for me, so I do not do that in reviews. I am truly terrible at summarizing books without giving away tons of spoilers.
That said, if you are in the mood for a spicy blend of erotica stories, then this book is for you. The narrative is crisp, the sex scenes are smoking, and the stories keep your interest. I like an erotica author who can keep my interest with a good story along with a hefty dose of sex, and this one does not disappoint.
Slip into a hot bath, light a few candles, and enjoy some captivating erotic stories. I recommend this to anyone who likes contemporary erotica.
